A roaring wood fire, cosy bar and relaxed restaurant make this an ideal venue for family and friends to get together
Built in the 17th century, the Rose & Crown is typical of pubs and local architecture of this part of South Somerset, featuring golden ham stone walls and wooden beamed ceilings throughout.
The pub features three main areas plus a large function room and skittle alley, that can accommodate 50+ guests. On entering through the original front door, guests are welcomed by a wide bar with snug area and large fireplace with woodburner to the left and more casual bar seating and tables to the right. Further round is the more formal restaurant area that spans two rooms with views out onto the internal patio and garden.
In the warmer months, there is plenty of space within our sunny beer garden and additional tables and chairs on our patio area, surrounded by beautiful flowering baskets. The pub also features ample parking for a number of cars.
